Implant Guided Surgery

Implant Guided Surgery

Case 1 – When patients have lost many teeth, the final appearance of any new bridge relies on meticulous planning. This involves establishing the final aesthetic result and ideal tooth positions at the outset.

The proposed new smile is merged with the patient’s 3D scan and implants can then be planned within the latest implant software. To ensure the surgery compliments the software planning a 3D printed surgical guide is fabricated.

In this case the final implant positions are almost identical to what was planned on the computer. This process provides a predictable outcome and can also reduce the surgical intervention required.
