Wargrave is a village with a huge community at its heart and bi annually a festival is held celebrating all things Wargrave.
Inspired by the late Revd John Ratings, vicar of St Mary’s Church, the festival was first held in the summer of 1975 and has been a major feature of village life since. From relatively modest beginnings, it has grown to offer a staggering array of events and now extends to over 35 events held over three-weeks in June. Centred on Mill Green, these events are now held in locations across the village.
At Wargrave Dental Clinic we are passionate about practising in a sustainable manner with consciousness around keeping our patients safe, reducing waste, using green energy, working with sustainable suppliers and minimising chemical disposal. Our sustainability policy goes into detail on this. As a result, it was a natural fit for us to sponsor the Wargrave Festival Green Team. We are excited about all the initiatives the team will be using at this year’s festival and encourage everyone to follow their lead!
