Mr Ranju Khurana

Dental Surgeon & GDC registered Specialist in Prosthodontics

Mr Khurana trained at Guy’s and St.Thomas’ Hospital in London qualifying in 1998.

Following his qualification, Ranju was awarded a prestigious house surgeon post at Guy’s Hospital where he worked in oral surgery, radiology, sedation and restorative dentistry. He was also presented with a certificate of merit for the Alfred Woodhouse prize in dental public health. He then completed his vocational training on the University of Oxford scheme in 1999-2000.

After working in private practice he was appointed a part-time clinical tutor supervising final year undergraduates at Guy’s Hospital. . Later in November 2007, Ranju graduated from a three-year full-time prosthodontic programme from the esteemed Eastman Dental Institute and gained admission to the Specialist Register of the GDC. His thesis investigating tooth colour and shade matching gained international recognition when it was published in the British Dental Journal.

Ranju also worked as a clinical honorary assistant in the oral and maxillo-facial department at Stoke Mandeville Hospital (Buckinghamshire NHS Trust).

Ranju has broad experience in general practice, corporate dentistry and community NHS dental services (including special needs, dental phobics, emergency walk in centres, general anaesthetic clinics, Reading juvenile prison).

Ranju is a GDC registered specialist in Prosthodontics and offers all routine general dentistry as well as complex restorative dentistry, implants, dentures, aesthetic and surgical extractions.

Ranju originally taught final year dental students in 2003-2004 at Guys hospital in London. More recently in September 2015, Ranju was  appointed specialist and clinical teacher within the department of integrated clinical care at the same hospital.

Ranju was invited by a voluntary organisation, Cardio-Wellness to talk about oral cancer.

Dr. Anu Chadha (MRS)

Dental surgeon and MSC in prosthetics (complete and partial dentures)

Dr Anu Chadha trained at Guy’s and St.Thomas’ Hospital in London, qualifying in 2001. She was awarded the diploma of membership of the faculty of dental surgery (MFDS) in 2004 from Edinburgh.  She received her MSc in Prosthetic dentistry (removable prosthodontics), with distinction from The Eastman Dental Institute, part of University College London, a year later.  Since 2005 Anu has been teaching undergraduates at The Royal London Hospital, Whitechapel and working in private practice.

She started her professional career in the Oral and Maxillofacial, Restorative and Paediatric departments at Cardiff Dental Hospital, Heath Hospital (Vale NHS Trust).

In 2005, Dr Chadha also became an examiner for the International Qualifying Examination, formerly known as the Overseas Registration Examination, assessing dentists qualified outside of the European Union in cross infection control, clinical judgement and operative procedures who wish to practice in the UK.

Anu is passionate about providing her patients with an exceptional standard of care and treatment.

Her special interests include removable prosthodontics (dentures) and she is especially interested in treating the elderly, nervous, dental phobics and very young patients. Anu is happy to discuss individual needs and options for sedation. Dr Chadha also carries out home visits.

She is a member of the British Dental Association, British Society for the Study of Prosthetic Dentistry, and Newbury Study Group.


Serena Jenkins

serenaSerena has been a dental nurse since 2000. She is fully qualified and registered with the GDC. After 14 years in the field she has gained vast experience in all aspects of dentistry. She has worked along side Ranju since 2007 as a trained surgical implant nurse. Serena completed her practice management certificate in 2012 and is also our treatment co-ordinator.

Serena and her  husband Sam enjoy the outdoors which includes walking their dog, Clyde.

We are delighted to have the friendly and charming Serena here at WDC.


Mandy Morris 


Mandy, has also previously worked with Ranju since 2007  and we are extremely pleased to welcome her to WDC in her new role.

Qualifying as a dental nurse in 1993, Mandy, has a wide range of dental experience. She has worked in a variety of environments including orthodontics, the NHS maxillo-facial department, surgical, private dentistry, NHS dentistry and working alongside registered specialists as well as being an agency dental nurse.

Dental radiography, impression taking, dental photography, 3D digital scanning, phlebotomy, as well as lead nurse and reception duties are all skills that she has acquired during her career.

Being nominated as a finalist in the Private Dentistry Awards in the ‘best Dental Care Professional’ category has been a highlight as recognition of her loyalty and commitment to the profession.

Outside of dentistry Mandy enjoys her time on the family narrow boat. We may see them moored locally during the summer months, enjoying time with family and friends.

Gail Braine


Gail is a dental hygienist with over 35 years of practicing experience, with her career starting in The Royal Army Dental Corps.  Working throughout East Berkshire her career has been enhanced by continuous professional development via post graduate training, and specialises in helping nervous patients leave the clinic smiling. Gail is vastly experienced in treating all aspects of dental hygiene ranging from routine care to more complex gum disease. Gail has worked with Ranju in other dental practices since 2007. Gail is available for appointments on Thursdays.
